MVP Programme Delivery

The MVP Model and Delivery

The programme is delivered by peers (fellow students), it is not only a violence reduction programme but also a leadership programme.

The heart of the training consists of role plays which allow students to construct and practice viable options in response to incidents of harassment, abuse or violence before, during or after the incident occurs. Students can identify dangerous behaviours as forms of violence and learn that there is not just one way to confront violence and develop valuable skills to build their personal resolve and act when faced with difficult situations.

MVP works because young people become the trainers and influencers. No longer are teachers the only ones who manage negative behaviour. With MVP it is the students themselves who play just as big a part and ensure good behaviour exists within their school and local community.
