The vision of the MVP Programme is to create safer communities built upon positive relationships where every young person flourishes, achieves and leads. At a school level, the programme strives to be a key contributory factor in creating a safe and supportive learning environment by challenging bullying and abusive behaviour, building relationships, and creating partnerships.
A young person feeling safe and supported in any learning environment, will accomplish. MVP places healthy relationships within all discussions. The benefits of healthy relationships in our communities will lead to less violence and reduced demand on already over-stretched services.
The MVP programme supports young people to positively influence the attitudes and behaviour of their peers to tackle the issue of gender-based violence.
